The Eden Project – Something for everyone
Near St Austell on the south Cornish coast the Project is nestled in a huge crater. Massive Biomes house the largest rainforest in captivity with stunning plants, exhibitions. There are also striking contemporary gardens, summer concerts and exciting year-round events.

Animal’tastic – Newquay Zoo
Get closer to over 130 species at award winning Newquay Zoo!
We would recommend when you visit the Zoo there is lots to see and do. Let the kids run wild and enjoy some family time whilst you watch the penguins diving in and out of their pool. Visit the creepy crawlies in the Tropical House maybe then watch the lions tuck into their lunch.

St Michaels Mount – steeped in history
Amble over the ancient cobble of the causeway to St Michaels Mount at low tide or catch the small boat for the short crossing when the tide comes in.
You can wander the medieval pathways or explore the lush sub-tropical gardens. Climb up to the castle admire the breath-taking views and maybe stop to find what became of Cormoran the giant.

Tate St Ives – Get your ART Geek on!
In the mid 1980’s it was decided a Tate gallery should be built in St Ives, a small Cornish town on the southwest coast. The site of a former gasworks overlooking the sandy Porthmeor Beach was chosen. Building work began in 1991 it opened in June 1993 and in just six months welcomed over 120,000 visitors. A major extension and refurbishment was completed in the summer of 2017.

Bodmin Jail – A spooky day out
Built as the County Prison in 1778 it was notorious for its cramped conditions and infamous public hangings which took place outside the jail until 1862 after this the executions continued within the jail until 1909.
The jail’s dark and sinister past has made it popular with tourists. Hence its dramatic history has brought it to the attention of paranormal investigators consequently it was recently a location for a television series about the most haunted places in Britain.
During the First World War both the Crown Jewels and the Domesday Book were stored here.
