Durdle Door

One of Dorset’s most iconic landmarks. Durdle Door is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The majestic 200ft high arch is privately owned by family known as Welds who own the Lulworth Estate, including Lulworth Castle, consisting of 12000 acres of land in Dorset. However it is open to the public all year round.

Abbotsbury

Home of the Abbotsbury Swannery, on the beautiful coast road. The only place in the world where you can wander boardwalks through the heart of a colony of nesting Mute Swans. Corfe Castle

Explore the dramatic ruins of Corfe Castle and its colourful history, it stands on a natural hill guarding the principal route through the Purbeck Hills.

Chesil Beach

A pebble beach 18 miles long and stretches north-west from Portland to West Bay. For much of its length Chesil Beach is separated from the mainland by an area of saline water called the Fleet Lagoon.

Take a drive up to Portland Bill to look at this landmark. Above all take in the view on the way back of the expanse of Chesil Beach ahead of you. It’s worth parking up in the campervan as you take in the breath taking views. Therefore a good time to put the kettle on!
