The year of the ‘Staycation’ with VW Campervan Hire 2021
With the staycation being a big thing this year, why not hire a VW campervan for your holiday adventure?
When you hire one of our classic VW campervans you can, for instance explore the Westcountry and all the amazing things it has to offer. With this in mind, one massive, not to be underestimated, tip I have learned along the way is ‘Half the distance – double the fun’Â don’t be tempted to cram in too much. You can always come and visit again! One of our regulars said we are going to book again and stay longer and not go as far. They have duly booked again for Aug 21. We will have see how they get on this time, watch tis space as they say.
Cornwall
You won’t believe the beaches in Cornwall are British they looked like a postcard from the Mediterranean. Therefore our laid back retro VW’s are perfect for exploring Cornwall as they are not much bigger than a normal family car. So the quaint villages and narrow winding lanes prove no obstacle for Monty or Bob.
The South West Coast Path
England’s longest marked coastal walk, stretching over 630 miles of seaside. So above all you can be sure to find a stretch to walk and beach to suit you along it, in any one of the counties that are vans can travel in.
Devon’s English Riviera
There’s also an area of Devon known as the ‘English Riviera’ which features exotic palm trees and golden sands. It has beaches more reminiscent of somewhere more exotic. Some of the things you can do are – take a ride with Dartmouth Steam Railway & River Boats. Visit Paignton Zoo Environmental Park a world-class wildlife conservation park with big cats, gorillas and orang-utans, giraffes, lions, tigers and rhinos plus some more unusual species. Devon cream tea’s are a must do as well.
