Cream Tea
If you book a VW campervan holiday with us for June 2021 we are throwing in a complimentary Devon cream tea worth £12.00. We have sourced this from our very local country corner shop and post office in Colyford. You will have yummy scones, clotted cream, artisan jam, clipper tea bags, Belvoir juice drink and eco friendly wooden spoon/knife, contained within a recyclable box. These are made to order and the contents may vary slightly from the image.
We say no trip to Devon or Cornwall is complete without indulging in this treat. This therefore gives you a perfect opportunity to take one with you to enjoy where every you choose to stop.
There are regional variations as to how a this should preferably be eaten. Which receives much debate the world over! We suggest you try one of each and make your own mind up!
The Devon method is to split the scone in two, then cover each half with clotted cream, and finally add strawberry jam on top.
The Cornish method however is spread with strawberry jam, and topped with a spoonful of clotted cream.
