The difficult decisions will be which amazing part of Devon to explore? Stay local and explore the wonderful delights of the Axe valley, or to drive off through the beautiful Jurassic Coast to your adventure. The Lyme Bay Reefs, found off Seaton`s coast – a few miles down the road from us provide a safe haven for marine life. Take a short drive, park up at Seaton beach and you’ll find, clear rock pools and reefs to the right of the beach, which offer clues to the undersea wonders offshore. The wilderness that is Lyme Bay is set to become one of our most important newly designated marine nature reserves. During the summer you can try Paddle boarding from Seaton beachfront, or windsurfing in the Bay with Seaton Bay Water sports.
After that you can drive off through the Jurassic Coast and explore. Within a short distance you’ll find
- Beer Quarry Caves a fascinating vast man-made complex of underground caverns
- Branscombe Old Bakery, Mill and Old Forge was the last traditional bakery in Devon.
- Forde Abbey former Cistercian monastery and gardens in Dorset
