Campo
Campo our celebrity campervan has been with us for a while but recently has undergone a complete refurbishment. We have retained his original look with his striking beach themed artwork, which was especially designed for Grandpa in my Pocket. This popular children’s program was run on the BBC, the first episode being shown in 2009. Starring James Bolam as Grandpa with his magic shrinking cap.
Campo has had a new interior which includes a smart kitchen unit, with hob/sink and fridge perfect for storing the essentials you can then park up and make lunch or just a cuppa wherever you like.
He has new upholstery through out in the aptly name blue bay vinyl with contrasting off white fluted sections. The stunning and very comfortable Porsche seats make driving a dream. As below with Ruby we are very safety conscious and everything is maintained to a high standard and tested annually. Even though these classic campers are MOT exempt due to their age we still get them booked in and tested.
Ruby
Ruby with her beautiful red and white paint work joined our team at the end of 2021. She is a genuine factory made 1977 Westfalia campervan.
The full width Rock & Roll bed, is so easy to change from a bench seat into a bed in just a couple of seconds. It is the same size a standard double! so lots of room. Ruby is also fitted with a small double bed in the elevating roof which is ideal for children or small adults.
As with all our VW Campervans Ruby fitted with a gas safety locker, with drop vents to outside. Keeping you safe is a priority so we ensure that gas installations are annually tested in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998. In addition, we fit each campervan with a smoke detector, carbon monoxide alarm and fire extinguisher. Any of our electrical appliances are PAT tested.
