Being based on the borders of Devon, Dorset and Somerset with Cornwall in easy reach, we are in a fantastic location to start your holiday adventure. Being at the end of the M5 you can enjoy starting your break on the smaller roads and not have the worry of motorway driving. Our classic VW campers are driven at slower pace and really get you into the holiday groove.

Classic campervans

Classic style and original retro looks. We maintain our campers to a very high standard, with interiors offering mod cons. For instance, USB chargers, mains hook up, LED lighting, fridge/freezer and much more.

Essential kit

Each campervan is fully equipped with all the essentials to get you started. Including the all-important whistling kettle and bottle opener!! We can also provide a range of extras like inflatable awnings, portable toilet and much more. If something is not listed just ask, we are happy to try and arrange the little things that make your break a special one.

Dog Friendly

Dogs are welcome when you hire our Campers, we make a small charge for additional cleaning.

Safety

All campers are gas and electrical tested annually and fitted with smoke & carbon detectors and fire extinguishers. We have them MOT’d annually even though they are exempt as classic vehicles.

Your experience

We pride ourselves on making this a special experience. We take care to provide a full handover on arrival, plus we are always on hand if you need to phone us. Freebird Campers often have couples on honeymoon, special anniversaries, and parents grabbing a fun break for their school leavers treat. Or just someone searching for that ‘something different’ or ‘a fun thing to do’! We appear on many bucket lists.

Our campers are dog friendly. Prices include insurance for the main driver, breakdown cover and parking for your car.
