This is a major new scheme by the County Council. Open to any business that is based in Devon and has also been operating for more than six months. It aims to help businesses and consumers buy local and support local. Funding from DCC means 125 Devon-based businesses a year until March 2023 can therefore join the scheme for free. This provides a free audit by Trading Standards and free membership of the scheme for their first year.
Consumers who want to buy from trustworthy companies can look on the Find a Local Business page or the Love to Shop Local page and be rest assured they’re supporting a local, legal and honest Devon business that has the Trading Standards stamp of approval.
