It’s too good to be true

We get so many people say what a relief when they arrive and see the campervans in the flesh. Most say its hard to be sure what they are like from a photo.

Many also say that posts on Facebook and other social media platforms can look too good to be true. They worry about being scammed.

All we can say is, having had the pleasure of owning Freebird Campers since 2018 we have put in place many systems and processes. This is to help protect information customers provide us with. Also making sure that the campervans meet the standards that we have set on an ongoing basis.

Our systems

We use a range of forms to capture required information to comply with the criteria of the self-drive insurance.

Then we gather this information using Dropbox which is a 3rd party secure portal to upload and save documents. We provide our customers with a link so they can easily upload documents or images.

Before each campervan goes out we have a 54 point check list that we go through. This ensures the campervan and its equipment is ready to go out on the next adventure.

Buy with confidence

We are delighted to be an approved member of the nationally recognised Trading Standards Buy With Confidence scheme.

Before being approved as a member of the scheme we were audited by a Trading Standards qualified person and underwent a series of detailed checks.

This scheme is the perfect way to find businesses like us who have been vetted and approved by Trading Standards. This shows you know they are legal, honest and fair and go out of their way to support local. You the customer can really can buy with confidence.

  • Before setting of on your adventure we go through a handover process to make sure you are happy with the campervan and all provided equipment.
  • Should you have any questions or concerns, we are always at the other end of the phone whilst you are out on your adventure.
