Here at Freebird Campers Classic VW Campervan Hire we have taken all our precautions against Covid very seriously. We have implemented new procedures to try and keep our customers and ourselves as safe as we possibly can. Therefore we will be continuing to watch and update these additional policies and practices in line with government recommendations and timescales as they evolve. We hope this will help people hire our VW campervans with confidence.

Additional Cleaning Policy

In addition to our normal high standard of cleaning, we have selected to use the Alltec ENVIROSAFE virus & bacteria control cleanser and sanitiser.

The active ingredients in their Virus & Bacteria cleanser and sanitiser are tested and proven to be effective against most known microbes. These include bacteria, viruses, fungi and mould. Alltec have tested Envirosafe and its proven to be effective against the following standards, European Standards against viruses (EN14476), bacteria (EN1276) and fungi (EN1650). It has Log kill of 6 – destroys 99.9999% of known microbes. Being water based, Non-toxic it is safe for use with children, elderly & pets and is also Bio degradable.

Kitchen Equipment, Chairs, Water and Waste Containers  

We provide a closed plastic crate with a cleaned and quarantined set of kitchen equipment and water containers. (Quarantined for at least 72 hours). We introduced  as part of our additional  procedures during the 2020 season. Our customers feedback on this has been very positive. Your camping chairs will also be swopped for a new set that have also been quarantined.
